At Clean Sweep Farm, we offer wagon, sleigh and carriage rides - a perfect way to celebrate your special event! Clean Sweep Farm is the home of Zeek and Zach, our gentle Percheron draft team and newly acquired Clydesdale, Goose. Goose was part of an eight horse National winning hitch team, but in his semi-retirement, he will be used to pull single sleighs here at Clean Sweep Farm. Our wagon holds up to 16 passengers and our carriage holds up to 4 passengers, as does our sleigh. Our carriage is a Vintage Styled Cut Under Surrey-Elegant carriage and was most popular for American families in the late 1800's. Its three spring design provides a comfortable and stable ride in its bottom tufted seats. This carriage has history and elegance right down to the authentic carriage lamps. Being a modern vehicle, this carriage is complete with roller bearing hubs, hard rubber tires, drum brakes and electric lights. Goose, the Clysdale pulls our Original Portland Bob sleigh. Antique bob sleighs of this type were often seen driving through Central Park on a snowy Sunday afternoon put to a family's finest pair. This elegant model bears its original paint and button tufted upholstery. Look closely at the dash for the large eagle heads - one on each side. This 100-year sleigh provides a very smooth ride with its leaf spring suspension and turns with ease on its separate bob-style runners. Our on-site wagon, sleigh and carriage rides are $12 per passenger. We have many acres of scenic trails which are truly breathtaking in all seasons! We can also accommodate off-site events for $25 per passenger. Off-site wedding carriage rides are $500/day, plus mileage to the off-site event location.
